Emergency Locator Transmitter: ELT96/ELT97 |
|
The Air Precision ELT is compatible with the COSPAS-SARSAT system and is able to
transmit on all 3 emergency frequencies 121.5, 243 and 406 Mhz. Using this last
frequency allows the signal to be located more quickly and more accurately. The
Beacon can be activated in different ways either manually, from the cockpit or automatically
with its crash sensor.
|
 |
|
The unit follows the DO 160C environmental specifications and will emit in extreme
conditions. It also meets the TSO C91a and TSO C126 technical specifications. Different
options are available such as fireproof box and different types of antenna for low
or high speed aircraft. Air Precision is currently developing a new model of tri-frequency ELT which promises to be even more flexible then the current model with additional
features.
Satori is set-up to perform the maintenance and programming of the unit in our Montreal
facility. For more information on this product please contact us at
