During last December’s Airbus Supplier Support Symposium held in Washington DC, Satori Air Services was awarded the best Support Center in the Americas for 2006.

This prestigious recognition is given to companies that are part of the Airbus Supplier Performance Indicators program (ASPI) which monitors deliveries to meet GCP requirements.

Satori was selected as number 1 from a group of 36 different service locations that support Airbus operators in the Americas. In January Mr. Terry Stone, Airbus Supplier Support Director in charge of Satori, presented the award to all employees during a recognition ceremony held in our facility.

After overcoming a number of obstacles, we are proud to have reached this level of performance and would like to thank Satori’s staff for their efforts and dedication to achieve these remarkable results.


Selective Calling Unit: SL3924AA01

Manufactured by TEAM, the Selective Calling Unit is a 16 tone decoder for ICAO and ARINC standard SELCAL system. It is capable of detecting calls transmitted on five distinct radio channels (3 VHF and 2 HF) simultaneously and avoids continuous monitoring of the communication frequencies by the crew as signals are produced to notify of incoming calls.

Designed to surpass the performance requirements of ARINC 714, the Selcal Decoder may be installed in non-pressurized and non-temperature controlled locations on aircraft operating up to 55,000 feet. Also featuring a Safe keeping of the call, detected calls are restored should momentary power supply interrupt occurs. Certified on all Airbus and Boeing aircrafts, this unit can also be fitted on other types of airplanes such as Fokker, MD Douglas, ATR, Bombardier and Falcon jets. The simplicity of the design allows easy maintenance and low consumption.

Employee Profile: Carolyn Adourian, Repair Admin Manager

Organized and reliable, Carolyn Adourian has dedicated herself to administrate the Repair department with care. With a College degree in Office Systems Technology, she gained a lot of experience by performing a multitude of administrative tasks prior to working at Satori. She has been working with us for over 10 years now and has shown great skills throughout the years.

Her dedication to our customers is beyond limits. Always available to support them, she gives her best to answer to all their needs. Competitive, she works hard to achieve her goals and being second is not an option. Her goal: to be number 1 by providing unparallel customer service to every single one of them. And when we say she is dedicated beyond limits we are not kidding. Within her ten years of service she might have called in sick perhaps once or twice.
