Constantly seeking for improvements, Satori is proud to announce it has started to use WebEx web conferencing to better communicate with its customers. We hope it will allow us to keep better contacts and increase productivity while reducing costs.

Webex was the right choice as not only is it easy to use but it can be accessed quickly by anyone. We can start meetings by a simple mouse click and send invitation via e-mail instantly. This new communication tool should also increase customer satisfaction by resolving support issues faster.

As the world leader in on-demand collaboration software, Webex web conferencing is used by over 2.2 million users. In our area of business, Boeing has been using WebEx for the past 5 years and has awarded them with the Boeing 2006 Supplier of the Year award which is given to the top suppliers for their achievements. Boeing has become WebEx largest web meeting customer by hosting more than 1 million meetings.

Mounted on civil aircraft of "Commuter" type and helicopters, the DPAS4 can broadcast a variety of announcements and music to passengers. The unit is currently offered on Dash8, CRJ, Fokker50 and ATRs. Connected with the Passenger Address Amplifier, the system ensures announcements and music are heard by all passengers with permanent access to volume adjustment.

Thanks to the LCD screen, the unit allows clear and simple identification of languages and announcements. Once an announcement or music is chosen, the broadcasting is immediate and simple thanks to the PLAY and STOP keys. Located in the attendant work zone for easy access, the unit also features a language menu for language selection of up to 4 active languages.

The DPAS4 uses rewritable, long life PC cards with capacities of 10, 20, 48 or 64 MB. Those cards can store over 4 minutes of announcement or over 2 minutes of music per MB which provides the users with sufficient storage of up to 4 hours of announcement or 2 hours of music. A dedicated software allows programming and managing the content of the cards with digitalized announcements and music files. The digital technology allows storing high quality sound data and recovering or playing them extremely easily.
