The APE2650 and APE2652 electronic clocks are designed with programmable microcircuit technology compatible with modern avionics requirements.
They provide the following information:
- GMT
Indication in hours, minutes and tens of seconds.
-ET (Elapsed Time) : Indication of elapsed time in hours and minutes.
-CHRONO : Indication of a time interval in minutes and seconds.
- DATE : Indication of the day and month.
-ENCODED OUTPUT : Transmission to flight recorders of the time and date in the form of an ARINC 429 encoded signal.
The APE2652 electronic clock differs from the APE2650 clock by
-a battery enabling the computer to operate if the aircraft 28 V hot bus is interrupted,
-the GMT switch, which possesses the additional position SYNCHRO for synchronizing the time and date of 3 clocks.
